Stephen Baldwin Shares Joy Over Grandson Jack Blues and Holiday Plans with Hailey Bieber
Stephen Baldwin expresses pride as a grandfather. The 58-year-old actor enthusiastic shared thoughts on his daughter, Hailey Bieber, and her son, Jack Blues, who is 3 months old. Ahead of his appearance on "Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test," he said, "He’s grown like a weed. Actually, he looks like a little plump potato." Baldwin described Jack as "so cute" that he can hardly contain his excitement.
Baldwin mentioned that his family is "getting ready for Christmas" with Jack, who will celebrate his 4-month milestone on December 22. "We’re excited," he remarked, revealing a festive spirit as the holidays approach. Hailey, 28, shares Jack with her husband, Justin Bieber, whom she married in 2018. Justin, 30, announced their son's birth in August, sharing a photo of Jack's foot with the caption, "WELCOME HOME."
While Jack Blues is too young to speak, Stephen already picked out his grandparent name. "Grampy. We’re going with Grampy. But it's with a W," he explained. He clarified that it’s spelled G-W-A-M-P-Y, which is pronounced as "Gwampy." This charming title originated from his granddaughter, Iris, who named him grandpa during her infancy.
Alaia Baldwin, Stephen's other daughter, gave birth to Iris, now 4, with her husband, Andrew Aronow, in 2020. Stephen shares Alaia and Hailey with his wife, Kennya Baldwin, whom he wed in 1990.
Since Jack’s arrival, Hailey and Justin have focused on bonding with their newborn. An exclusive source revealed in August that "It’s total bliss for the two of them." The source noted that Hailey is "enjoying and savoring" her moments as a new mom. Earlier in the fall, Hailey discussed the balancing act of her career and motherhood. She explained taking a gentle break before return to her skincare brand, Rhode.
"I’m only doing what feels comfortable for me physically, mentally and emotionally," she shared with *Women’s Wear Daily* in October, characterizing her skincare brand as the "toddler" in her life. As she reflected on launching the brand in 2022, she shared important lessons learned. "Mistakes are going to happen," she acknowledged. "[There] will be bumps in the road, which are out of your control. But you need to pivot, run and work with them as they come."
