Suki Waterhouse Celebrates Her 33rd Birthday with a Huge Leg Bruise
Suki Waterhouse joyfully marked her 33rd birthday by sharing her special day with fans on Instagram this past Sunday, January 5, 2025. She proudly showcased a striking leg bruise, demonstrating that her celebration wasn’t exactly glamorous, PEOPLE reported.
Waterhouse wrote, "Best and only photo I got while celebrating my bday to commemorate a gorgeous year of life and absolutely massive leg bruise." The photo showed her posing in a light, airy white gown, with the bruised leg in full view.
In another post, she wore khaki bikini bottoms with a blue tie-dye cover-up. Her heartfelt message expressed appreciation for birthday wishes: "Thank you for the birthday love." She completed the sentiment with three red love heart emojis.
Suki Waterhouse welcomed her first child with actor Robert Pattinson in March 2024. The couple has chosen to keep their baby out of the spotlight. During the 2024 MTV Music Video Awards on September 11, Waterhouse shared that Mr. Pattinson, 38, is an outstanding father. "I've had the best day with her today. Showing her around New York City is heaven," she told Access Hollywood.
"It’s the best," she continued. "And it’s just getting more and more fun." This shows her enthusiasm for his new role and the joys of motherhood.
Waterhouse disclosed her thoughts about performing at Coachella just six weeks after childbirth. On "The Run-Through with Vogue" podcast, she shared feeling "in denial" about her choice at first. "I received the Coachella offer long before I got pregnant," she recounted, indicating that accepting the opportunity was a spontaneous decision.
"It was a wild thing to do," she added candidly. "I definitely wasn't at peak lung capacity," referencing the physical challenge post-birth.
In the August 2024 issue of British Vogue, Waterhouse opened up about facing criticism for her rapid return to the stage following motherhood. She noted, "Every mum's morality is in question so much, not just from yourself, but from society." This observation highlights the pressures mothers face from outside perceptions.
Everybody tends to impose their views, which Waterhouse acknowledged as "an insane thing." Her comments emphasize the challenges many mothers encounter in the public eye.
