Taylor Swift Greets Young Chiefs Fans from Private Box After Black Friday Game
On November 29, Taylor Swift cheered for the Kansas City Chiefs during their game against the Las Vegas Raiders at GEHA Field. Swift watched the game from a private box with friends and family. Following the closely contested game that ended in a Chiefs victory, she took the time to interact with young fans in the stadium, US Weekly reported.
In a memorable moment shared on social media by sports reporter Vince Lovergine, Swift leaned out of her suite window to meet a young fan wearing Chiefs merchandise. She appeared to give the fan a souvenir, showcasing her trademark kindness. Swift also invited another young fan, wearing Travis Kelce’s No. 87 jersey, to join for a group selfie, creating a heartwarming scene.
For the game, Swift looked effortlessly stylish in a red Louis Vuitton quarter-zip sweatshirt, black Paige jeans, and matching lace-up Alaia boots. Her accessories featured Dana Rebecca hoop earrings and an "87" necklace. Swift completed her look with a braided ponytail and her familiar red lip.
Accompanying her at the game were her father, Scott Swift, and Kelce’s mother, Donna. They were joined by friends, including fellow Chiefs supporters, Chariah Gordon and Sheawna Weathersby, who shared their excitement on social media after the game.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, dating since summer 2023, have become a fixture at NFL games this season. In a December 2023 interview with TIME, Swift explained the significance of their public relationship. She praised the experience of supporting each other and attending games together with minimal effort to conceal their connection.
Regarding her newfound love for football, Swift stated, "Football is awesome, it turns out. I’ve been missing out my whole life." Throughout the current season, she has been present at every Chiefs home game. However, this streak may end due to her last Eras Tour concert scheduled for December 8 in Vancouver, coinciding with the Chiefs’ home game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Despite an ongoing regular season, the Chiefs have secured a playoff spot with an impressive record of 11-1 following the win on Friday. The reigning Super Bowl champions are optimistic about pursuing their third consecutive Lombardi Trophy at Super Bowl LIX, set for February 2025.
