"The Challenge" Star Tony Raines Arrested for DUI in Louisiana

MTV reality star Tony Raines, known from "The Challenge," was arrested early Sunday, February 23, for driving under the influence, as reported by TMZ.

Raines, who is 36 years old, faces one charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated, one charge of reckless operation, and four charges of negligent injuring. Online records confirm that Charles Anthony Raines, his full name, was booked at 3 a.m. local time by the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana. He posted a $7,500 bond and was released by 9 p.m. Sunday.

Raines first appeared on MTV’s "Real World: Skeletons" in 2015. He later took part in "The Challenge: Champs vs. Pros" in 2018, "The Challenge: All Stars" season 4 in 2024, and "The Challenge 40: Battle of the Eras," which aired last year and concluded in January.

In October 2023, Raines married his longtime partner, Alyssa Giacone, during an intimate ceremony in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. The couple has an 8-year-old daughter named Isla. Raines also has a 9-year-old daughter, Harper, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Madison Walls-Channing.

Raines expressed his love for Giacone to People before their wedding. He said, "There is so much I love about her, from her looks to how great a mother she is. What means the most is how she supports me through everything, truly being a partner."

Giacone shared her excitement, stating, "For me, it’s a fairytale! I’ve pretty much been waiting for this moment since high school! Planning has been super chill, making it even better. I’m just ready for the big day to get here."

Raines celebrated Valentine’s Day by posting a sweet photo of him and Giacone kissing at sunset. He wrote on Instagram, "20 years ago Cupid shot me, and that arrow is still lodged in there. I love you, Beautiful. Happy Valentine’s Day," tagging Giacone.
