The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3's First Look Video Showcases a Grown-Up Belly

As the July premiere of The Summer I Turned Pretty season three approaches, a teaser video has debuted, highlighting Lola Tung's character, Isabella "Belly" Conklin.
This preview features Belly in a stunning midi-length yellow dress with spaghetti straps. Lola typically portrays her character with a fresh-faced look and denim shorts, but this video offers a fresh dimension.
In the TikTok video shared on March 10, Lola spun around, confidently showcasing her outfit. The new look reminds fans of a quote from the first book in the trilogy, which Lola recited in voiceover: "For me, everything good, everything magical happens between the months of June and August. All year long, I count the days until I'm in that house."
Previously, fans caught a glimpse of Belly's chic top half in the season three poster, released earlier this month. However, this new clip provides a complete view of Lola's mature outfit, hairstyle, and makeup. The camera even zoomed in, revealing her bright pink lips and blush, paired with a sleek bun.
As for the supporting cast, viewers will have to wait until the show's July premiere on Amazon Prime to see how Jeremiah Fisher (Gavin Casalegno), Conrad Fisher (Christopher Briney), Taylor Jewel (Rain Spencer), and Steven Conklin (Sean Kauffman) fare this season.

What to Expect in Season Three
The final installment of the franchise promises to deliver an engaging narrative. It was crafted by Jenny and her season two co-writers, Sarah Kucserka and Karen Rosenfelt. Lola shared insights during the Teen Vogue Summit panel in November, stating, "I'll tell you guys, season three is a lot. [Belly] goes through the ringer."
Jenny echoed Lola's sentiments, expressing that the conclusion will illustrate Belly’s genuine growth from girlhood to adulthood. "We're just with her every step of the way and hopefully having empathy for her and ourselves in moments where we have acted less than perfectly," the author explained. "I think it’s challenging to watch characters navigate difficult situations, make mistakes, and express regret over their actions."
Earlier, SSP reported that Salma Hayek shared her charming old-fashioned habits.
