Timothée Chalamet Avoids Question on Kylie Jenner’s Support at Palm Springs Film Festival

During the 36th Annual Palm Springs International Film Society Film Awards, Timothée Chalamet had the backing of his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner. However, he remains reluctant to openly discuss their relationship.

On Friday, January 3, Chalamet, age 29, attended the festival to support his film A Complete Unknown, walking the red carpet alone. Jenner, 27, was seen later inside the venue, appearing cozy with him in social media photos.

After the event, an Entertainment Tonight reporter inquired about Jenner’s presence at the awards. "You have a lot of supporters in here. I know you brought your partner-in-crime, Kylie, here too. What’s it like to have her supporting you on a night like this?" the reporter asked.

Chalamet chose to keep the focus off his romance. "It’s a great feeling to be in a room with so much love and so many great peers and people that are fantastic," he responded. "I like seeing the new way and the new generation here, and I also like seeing everyone that’s been holding it down for decades-plus and probably people we haven’t even met yet."

The day before the festival, The Hollywood Reporter shared a video of the 2025 Golden Globes seating chart. Observant fans noticed a reserved seat for Jenner next to Chalamet, who is nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama on Sunday, January 5.

Chalamet and Jenner officially debuted as a couple at last year’s Golden Globes in January 2024. Although Jenner didn’t join Chalamet on the red carpet, they were seen demonstrating affection inside the Beverly Hilton.

Linked for the first time in April 2023, Chalamet and Jenner made a public appearance at a Beyoncé concert in September. Additionally, they attended an NYFW dinner with Haider Ackermann and the 2023 US Open events.

By January 2024, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Chalamet and Jenner were "madly in love." "Everything is going great between them. They have really busy schedules but make as much time for each other as possible," said another insider. "Timothée is always making Kylie smile. They have a very special connection."

Despite their close relationship, both Chalamet and Jenner have not extensively discussed their romance. "Kylie and Timothée hang out frequently and communicate regularly," a third source informed Us in July 2024. "They’ve gone on several dates lately, but they always try to stay under the radar as much as possible."
