Timothée Chalamet Fined $79 for Riding an Electric Bike to London Premiere of A Complete Unknown
Timothée Chalamet recently stated that he was fined $79 after journeying on an electric bike to the London premiere of his film, A Complete Unknown.
Chalamet, 29, appeared in a stylish navy suit while riding a green-and-white Lime bike at the event, which took place on Tuesday, January 14, at BFI Southbank. He chose this transport option due to a traffic jam that could have prevented his timely arrival. During his January 15 appearance on the French talk show Quotidien, the actor explained the situation.
Unfortunately, this relatable choice came with a penalty. He revealed that the fine was £65, which equates to about $79, due to improper bike parking. "There was a traffic jam, and I actually wasn’t allowed to park there, and I got a £65 fine," he explained, as captured in a clip shared on X.
Chalamet remarked humorously, "And actually, it’s horrible because it was an advert for them," referencing Lime, which provides a subsidized electric bike service in London.
After his talk show appearance, Chalamet enjoyed a charming date night in Paris with girlfriend Kylie Jenner, 27. The couple was seen walking hand-in-hand during their night out in the City of Love.
Cameras spotted Jenner and Chalamet entering the Hotel Royal Monceau following dinner at an upscale restaurant. Jenner looked chic in a black jumpsuit with a halter neckline, while Chalamet wore dark jeans, a white shirt, and a multi-colored houndstooth coat and hat.
Earlier this month, Jenner attended the Golden Globe Awards to support Chalamet, who earned a nomination for Best Actor for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. During the ceremony, the couple shared a kiss while seated next to Chalamet’s co-star Elle Fanning and her sister Dakota Fanning.
Jenner posed for photos alongside the Fanning sisters and took candid pictures of Chalamet on his special night. They were also spotted posing with stars like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, mingling with guests at the Beverly Hilton.
Jenner and Chalamet first became linked in April 2023, and they had attended the previous year’s Golden Globes together.
Earlier, SSP reported that Prince William made first public appearance since Kate Middleton's cancer remission announcement.
