Tom Holland Couldn't Prove His Age to Buy His Own Beer Brand at Target

Tom Holland recently recounted a comical adventure while trying to purchase his non-alcoholic beer, Bero, at Target. The 28-year-old actor documented this escapade through a series of Instagram Stories on February 18. Despite navigating various real-life challenges akin to his on-screen adventures as Spider-Man, Holland faced an unexpected hurdle when a technical issue with his ID led to difficulty proving his age, nearly thwarting his beer shopping trip. This is prepared by SSP.

Starting off, Holland, who hadn't been in the United States for some time, sought to find his product, Bero, "out in the wild" at several Target stores. Despite initial frustration as two locations came up empty, persistence paid off at the third Target store where he finally found the Bero display with several case options. The challenges weren't over, though; Holland ran into another issue when his English ID wasn't accepted, preventing him from purchasing his creation. Fortunately, an empathetic employee helped him complete the buy using their ID. Laughing about the irony of not being able to buy his own product, Holland explained to fans that this unexpected turn made his day even more interesting.
Holland conceived Bero because he identified a gap in the non-alcoholic market for a high-end option and wanted a beverage that fosters inclusivity. Since launching Bero last year, he teamed up with Target to distribute it across the U.S. Holland even incorporated a nod to his fiancée Zendaya’s dog Noon by naming one of the beers Noon Wheat.
