Tom Sandoval Responds to ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Cast Changes in Season 12

Tom Sandoval has publicly reacted to the significant cast changes in Vanderpump Rules. On Tuesday, November 26, Bravo announced that Season 12 of the reality show would introduce a fresh cast.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Sandoval, 42, expressed being "overwhelmed with so many emotions." He shared a carousel of throwback images from his 11 seasons, including cast photos, behind-the-scenes moments, and various costumes.

"The unbelievable series of events that brought this group together still amazes me," he noted. Sandoval referred to the beginnings of several main cast relationships while they worked as servers at SUR. He reminisced, saying, "From a random encounter with Jax modeling in Miami to finding a roommate named Tom via Craigslist, it's incredible how a detour while pursuing our dreams developed into the cultural phenomenon we know as Vanderpump Rules."

He emphasized that they had been unaware of the profound effects the show would eventually have on their lives. "The foundation of Vanderpump Rules was built on pure and honest emotions," he stated, acknowledging the backdrop of the infamous Scandoval. This scandal spotlighted the public breakup between Sandoval and his longtime girlfriend, Ariana Madix, after his affair with cast member Rachel "Raquel" Leviss came to light.

Describing the past 11 seasons as a "roller coaster ride," Sandoval expressed gratitude to those involved. He also addressed the show’s loyal fans, saying, "To each and every fan, THANK YOU ALL for believing in us during this 12-year journey." He added, "Words can't capture my emotions right now. So much has transpired over the years."

While Sandoval didn't delve into the specifics of the controversies of Seasons 10 and 11, he hinted at them. He reflected, "Some past decisions led to challenging times, allowing me to learn invaluable lessons and experience growth." He expressed gratitude for the learning experience and the memories formed along the way.

Bravo has yet to reveal specifics about the new cast members. However, their press release mentioned that Season 12 would feature "a new group of close-knit SURvers, complicatedly involved with one another, reminiscent of their iconic predecessors."
