Travis Kelce Won't Attend the 2025 Grammys with Taylor Swift
As Taylor Swift celebrates multiple nominations with The Tortured Poets Department at the Grammys on February 2, her boyfriend Travis Kelce will be absent from the event.
Indeed, sources confirm that Travis Kelce will not attend the 2025 Grammys alongside Taylor Swift. The singer, nominated for six awards at the event, will walk the red carpet at Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena alone as the NFL player prepares for the upcoming Super Bowl in New Orleans. His Kansas City Chiefs will face the Philadelphia Eagles on February 9.
Travis also missed the 2024 Grammys while preparing for the previous Super Bowl, which his team won against the San Francisco 49ers. Despite his absence that year, he recognized Taylor’s significant achievements. "She's unbelievable," he noted during a press conference in February 2024. "She's rewriting the history books herself, and I told her I'd have to hold up my end of the bargain and come home with some hardware too."
At that time, Travis even mentioned Taylor's upcoming album from The Tortured Poets Department (TTPD). "I have heard some of it, yes, and it's unbelievable," he said. "I can't wait for her to shake up the world when it finally drops."
Fans later discovered that Taylor's album includes two songs about her relationship with Travis: "The Alchemy" and "So High School." A source informed E! News in April that "Travis is very supportive of the entire album and loves being a part of Taylor's story. He is incredibly proud of her."
The admiration is mutual. After Travis and the Chiefs won the 2025 AFC Championship against the Buffalo Bills on January 26, Taylor celebrated with the team at Arrowhead Stadium. "I love you so much," she exclaimed to Travis, according to footage shared on X, formerly Twitter, on January 29.
"I’m so proud of you, I can’t stand it. Look what you did. Look what you did."
