Travis Scott Names His Dream Collaborations
Travis Scott is envisioning future music collaborations with pop stars Taylor Swift and Sabrina Carpenter. In a fresh interview with Billboard, Scott confided his ambitions, citing "some ill ideas" for working with the renowned artists. He reflected on the juxtaposition of his mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, and Carpenter's Short n' Sweet album being on the charts simultaneously last year, dismissing chart competition with humor: "Charts, shmarts, man. Scott is not stopping there, as he shared updates on his upcoming album, indicating that it represents a striving push for excellence. "I was striving to push things to a high level for Utopia. It’s been fun making music, diving deeper into production, and I’m excited about what's coming," he affirmed.
Looking ahead, Scott is primed to headline Coachella 2025 alongside Lady Gaga, Green Day, and Post Malone. Scheduled for April, the two-weekend spectacle promises a new chapter in Scott's music journey, featuring a fully immersive experience dubbed for his Cactus Jack record label. The event will also feature artists such as Missy Elliott, Megan Thee Stallion, and BLACKPINK's Lisa.
