Valerie Bertinelli Suffers Arm Injury From Stage Fall While Filming New Project
Valerie Bertinelli is recovering from a recent injury. The 64-year-old former Food Network star posted a photo on social media on Tuesday, Oct. 29. In it, her right arm displayed a sizeable gash caused while working on a top-secret project. This is prepared by SSP.
"I would ask for hazard pay, but it was my own damn fault. 🥴," Bertinelli humorously noted in her Instagram caption. The mirror selfie highlighted a torn area of skin extending from just below her wrist to above her elbow.
She explained, "I've been working on a really fun new project that I can’t wait to tell you about. This is what happens when you trip over the corner of a stage and fall on your a-- in front of the crew and the whole audience." The two-time Golden Globe winner mentioned that the incident happened "because I’m a klutz."
Bertinelli added, "Embarrassing myself is my bailiwick. 😅" Although she couldn't share specifics about the project regarding her injury, she is involved in another new endeavor. She recently joined The Drew Barrymore Show as a regular lifestyle expert.
"I'm going to be part of The Drew Barrymore Show, part of Drew Crew. I'm super excited about that," she told PEOPLE prior to the season five premiere on Sept. 9. "I absolutely adore her," she expressed about Barrymore, 49. "All the people that work there are so flippin’ cool."
As part of The Drew Barrymore Show, Bertinelli will team up with suitable co-experts like Ross Matthews, Chris Appleton, and Zanna Roberts Rassi, among others.
Earlier, SSP reported that Shawn Mendes opened up about his sexuality.
