Vanessa Redgrave, 87, Sends 'All My Love' in Rare Video Message for the Holidays
Joely Richardson shared a heartfelt video of her mother, Vanessa Redgrave, 87, wishing seasonal joy to those affected by war around the world, PEOPLE reported.
On December 24, 2024, Joely posted the touching video on Instagram. In the clip, Vanessa Redgrave expressed her gratitude for the chance to extend her love to mothers, children, and babies suffering due to conflicts globally.
"I’m so grateful for this opportunity to send all my love to all the mothers and children and babies who are suffering from war in many countries of this world," Vanessa shared emotionally. She blew a kiss to the camera and added, "I send my love — it can't do anything for you. I wish it could. Bless you. Thank you for your love, and I send you every bit I've got, except for the bit I save for my family."
Joely, 59, captioned the video with a touching inquiry: "I asked my Ma if she’d like to send a message for this time of year…. #love #everyonesfamily #everylifecounts." In her comment, she also shared, "Love to all people." Joely received warm holiday greetings from fellow actress Melanie Griffith, 67, who wrote, "Happy Christmas to you and your Mama Joely."
