Weed 'Guru' Seth Rogen Urges People to Avoid Smoking the Drug in This Country

Seth Rogen is an advocate for cannabis, but there's one place where he absolutely refrains from indulging: Singapore. Discussing his smoking habits with Howard Stern, Rogen admitted that his usual routine of getting high every day was halted during a visit to Singapore in 2011. The strict drug laws in the country, which can impose severe penalties including the death sentence for drug trafficking, prompted Rogen to abstain, even jokingly noting, "They will literally f------ kill you if you smoke weed in that country." The potential penalties include significant fines, long jail sentences, and for severe offenses, capital punishment. This is prepared by SSP.
Despite usually keeping cannabis as part of his daily routine, Rogen commented lightheartedly about inadvertently carrying a forgotten roach in his pocket through the Singapore airport, describing it as "a scary walk." He also addressed why some people, despite the legalization of cannabis in certain cities, remain loyal to their dealers. This sense of loyalty persists as many don't want to financially abandon individuals who have long provided their supply.
In further interviews, Rogen explained that his ability to enjoy cannabis without it affecting him negatively might be due to what he calls his special knack: processing weed differently than most people. Deemed as "gifted" in this area, he notes that marijuana is a therapeutic and routine part of his everyday life, not hindering his performance. Additionally, he and his childhood friend, Evan Goldberg, fuel their passion for cannabis culture through their brand "Houseplant," offering premium cannabis products and lifestyle accessories, now including cannabis-infused beverages.
