What Kieran Culkin Said to Jeremy Strong When He Was Bleeped at 2025 Oscars

During the 97th Academy Awards on March 2, audiences did not hear Kieran Culkin's full remarks to Jeremy Strong. The mention proved significant despite being bleeped for viewers at home.
Culkin accepted the Best Supporting Actor award for his role in A Real Pain. He won this honor over Strong, who was nominated for his portrayal of Roy Cohn in The Apprentice. In his speech, Culkin praised Strong, although parts of his acknowledgment were censored during the live broadcast.
Video shared by Deadline highlighted that Culkin delivered the first F-bomb of the night while complimenting his fellow actor. He stated, "He's right, by the way. Jeremy, you're amazing in The Apprentice. I love your work. It's f---ing great." Immediately after this, he playfully covered his mouth before saying, "I'm not supposed to single anyone out. It's favoritism. Anyway, but you were great."
Following this moment, Culkin expressed gratitude towards his manager, director and co-star Jesse Eisenberg, and his wife, Jazz Charton. He humorously recounted a bet he made with her regarding having more children if he won an Oscar. "It turns out she said that because she didn't think I was gonna win," he remarked lightly.
He shared an amusing story from after the ceremony about his wife realizing her promise regarding a third child. Culkin gestured toward her, recalling, "She said, 'I will give you four when you win an Oscar.' I held my hand out. She took it, and I have not brought it up once, until just now."

In this entertaining part of his speech, he playfully addressed Jazz, saying, "No pressure. I love you. I'm really sorry I did this again, and let's get cracking on those kids. What do you say?"
Culkin and Strong previously starred together in Succession as Roman and Kendall Roy. The acclaimed series concluded its four-season run on HBO in 2023.
Earlier, SSP reported that Blac Chyna marks 900 days of sobriety.
