Why Jamie Foxx Joked He'll No Longer Date White Women
Jamie Foxx humorously stated that he has been "cured" from dating white women and is now back "on the Black side of town." He shared these sentiments during his Netflix standup special, What Had Happened Was, released on December 10.
In this special, the Oscar-winning actor candidly discussed his dating life. He asserted that he has no interest in relationships with white women any longer. While performing a piano number, Jamie sang, "Sisters, I'm here to tell you, I've been cured. I’ve been cured of everything, no more white girls. I’m serious, no more white girls."
Insights into His New Dating Outlook
Foxx also revealed additional insights into his current dating preferences. He jokingly announced that he is now seeking romance exclusively "on the Black side of town." He added, "No more potato salad and raisins. No more white girls! No more spray tan, no more big titties, no ass. No more white girls I gotta let ’em know!"
However, the 56-year-old actor provided a humorous amendment to his earlier declaration by stating, "No more white girls — in public," suggesting he may keep some aspects private.
Relationships and Personal Life
Jamie has been linked to Alyce Huckstepp since May 2022. The couple has shown affection in public, particularly during a yacht ride in Cannes. They also attended Jamie's daughter Corinne’s wedding in September. This was significant, happening less than a year after Jamie's hospitalization for a brain bleed and stroke.
Before Alyce, Jamie dated Katie Holmes for six years. The couple made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala in 2019 but split just three months later.
While Jamie Foxx typically keeps personal matters private, he has previously discussed why he has never married. He shared his views on the "cookie cutter" lifestyle often associated with marriage in a 2021 interview. He described the typical family setup by saying, "The 2.5 children, the wood paneling on the station wagon, and the cottage. I didn't think that was for me."
