Why Kylie Kelce and Husband Jason Are Opting for Gender-Neutral Names for the 4th Baby

Kylie Kelce recently shared insights on her and Jason Kelce's decision to use gender-neutral names for their upcoming fourth child. During the January 9 episode of her podcast, "Not Gonna Lie," the couple discussed the challenges of selecting a name. "Going on the 4th [child], it’s like a disaster [picking a name]. You’ve already used them all up," Kylie, 32, stated. This fourth child will be another girl, adding to their family of daughters.

Since their marriage in 2018, Kylie and Jason, 37, welcomed daughters Wyatt in 2019, Elliotte in 2021, and Bennett in 2023. "I feel like we have to lean a little bit towards those sort of gender-neutral names," Kylie explained. Given they already have Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett, she worries that a traditionally feminine name might not sit well with her other daughters. "Eventually they'll question why the new sibling received a cute girly name," she noted.

Kylie also expressed pride in their oldest daughter, Wyatt, who is eager to become a big sister. "Wyatt is 5 now, and her excitement for the next baby is sweet to witness," Kylie shared. She continues, "Wyatt is in that phase of wanting to help. She’s eager to get diapers and fill up her water bottle independently." Watching her older daughter embrace getting a new sibling fills Kylie with joy.

Fans have been curious about name choices for the newest Kelce girl, with Kylie previously mentioning this on her podcast. In a December 2024 episode, she remarked, "We don’t have a name picked out, so you’re not missing out on anything." She appreciated fan suggestions but emphasized her desire to keep potential names in the family.

Jason, the retired NFL star, is at ease with his role as a girl dad. "I got it pretty easy, I’m not gonna lie," he said. He noted, "The clothes will be hand-me-downs or already bought. The crib is already situated. We’re set. Kylie is definitely preparing more than I am because she’s actually growing a human being."
