Will Forte Claims a Spirit Predicted His Stabbing Death at 73
Will Forte revealed a fascinating story on the latest episode of Rachel Dratch’s "Woo Woo" podcast. The 54-year-old actor shared that, during his teenage years, a spirit warned him he would be stabbed to death at age 73. This encounter happened while he played Ouija board at a friend's house, where he felt a supernatural presence.
Forte recounted his experience with the board, stating he posed questions that only he knew the answers to yet received accurate responses from the device. "I was thinking, like, is there a way my hands are moving it because I know the answer? It was nuts — like my grandma’s middle name," he explained. Initially skeptical of the Ouija board, he admitted to trying to provoke the spirit humorously but acknowledged that the experience was "kind of scary."
Summoning his bravery, Forte decided to inquire about details related to his future death. "I found out I was going to die at age 73 by stabbing," he told Dratch soberly. He commented, "I’ve got 19 years left."
Dratch found his encounter with the Ouija board "extreme" and expressed skepticism. Although Forte himself doesn’t entirely believe in the prophecy, he mused about how he might prepare for it as he nears age 73. "When I’m 72, do I start looking into full-body Kevlar suits?" he wondered.
Both actors share a history as Saturday Night Live alumni. Dratch was part of the cast from 1999 to 2006, while Forte joined in 2002 and left in 2010. He is widely recognized for his MacGruber sketch and iconic impressions of George W. Bush and Lorne Michaels. Forte remained active in his career after SNL, appearing in the 2013 film "Nebraska" and starring in the Fox comedy series "The Last Man on Earth", which ran from 2015 to 2018.
In 2021, Forte reprised his beloved character in a MacGruber television adaptation on Peacock. Earlier that same year, he married Olivia Modling, a business development executive. This marriage came shortly after they welcomed their daughter, Zoe, who is now 3 years old. They have since had a second daughter named **Cecilia**.
Forte reflected on planning their wedding during the Covid pandemic, noting, "It was such a delightful day." He shared how his parents were completely surprised. He recalled the stress involved in the short two-week planning period, expressing gratitude that they didn’t have to endure planning for a year or longer.
Earlier, SSP wrote that Timothee Chalamet said he was asked to gain weight for 2 roles.
