Zach Bryan Got Into Argument With NYC Bar Patrons

Zach Bryan was involved in a disagreement with a patron at a New York City bar on Feb. 17. The incident began when a fellow bar-goer recorded interactions throughout the night using Ray-Ban Meta glasses.
The "Something in the Orange" singer clashed with a patron at a West Village bar after they played pool together. Video footage, shared by TMZ, shows Bryan and his friends facing off against another group while chatting about the recording glasses.
"I wanna rip them off your face so bad," Bryan stated about the glasses, insisting they were at a bar for fun.
Later in the night, Bryan confronted the patron wearing the glasses. The patron argued that he was not recording Bryan but capturing moments with friends. "I’m trying to record my s--t with my friends, for memories. You’re just being a douche," he responded. Bryan then replied, "That’s the gayest thing I’ve ever heard." Shortly after, friends helped to diffuse the situation, and the video concluded.
In earlier footage, Bryan also made sarcastic comments about law enforcement, exclaiming, "I love cops! I love cops!" while the patron showcased the glasses' features. He humorously remarked while trying on the glasses, "You’re gonna see some terrible things tonight."

Although the altercation didn’t escalate physically, it highlighted Bryan's pattern of controversial comments. Previously, in November, he faced scrutiny after a public breakup with Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia. She alleged that he offered her $12 million to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
"I was approached by his team and I was offered a lot of money — a big lump sum," Brianna explained on her Barstool Sports podcast. She described how accepting the proposal would mean surrendering her experiences and allowing monitoring by his team.
Since rejecting the offer, Brianna has reflected on warning signs she missed early in their relationship. "Initially, he admired my strength," she shared in a December podcast episode. "But then things slowly began to change."
Brianna mentioned how Bryan started implying that she was overqualified for her job and guiding her online presence. These comments led her to question whether he truly cared or was trying to control her.
Though Zach didn’t immediately respond to Brianna's allegations, he later spoke out regarding the negativity directed at his loved ones after the breakup. In a January post on Instagram, he addressed the hate with defiance. "No matter how bad of a person you think I am, go ahead and come for me," he wrote. "But do not come for my friends who do nothing but love and care for me."
