Alessia Cara has announced that the U.S. dates for her Love & Hyperbole Tour have been postponed, expressing heartfelt apologies to her fans. "The decision is breaking my heart," Cara stated, acknowledging the various uncontrollable factors that contributed to this reluctant move. She admitted the complexities of touring currently, pointing out the numerous challenging elements involved. "I cried about it then patched it up with ice cream. I’m so so so sorry, my US friends," she added, promising to make it up to her fans. Although this decision was tough, she reassured fans that she would provide new updates on rescheduled dates when available. Original tickets will be honored at the new shows.

Despite this setback, Cara's performances in other regions such as Canada, Asia, Australia, and Europe will proceed as planned from April 30 to June 19. Her recent album, Love & Hyperbole, released after nearly four years, captures her journey of learning personal trust and resilience, even when things don't go as hoped. "I'm going to be okay if it doesn't go my way," she said, highlighting the album's message of perseverance through heartache.
