Alex Cooper Discusses Her Incredible 2024 and Future Guests for Call Her Daddy
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Alex Cooper opens up about her remarkable year and what lies ahead for 2025. The host of the 'Call Her Daddy' podcast plans to transition her popular show from Spotify to SiriusXM.
Cooper reflects, "We held numerous live events—I sold out two tours. We launched parties, established merchandise, and collaborated with network talent. We're venturing into television and film." The 30-year-old entrepreneur also introduced her Unwell Hydration beverage line recently, commenting, "How do I sleep? I have no idea."
Despite a busy 2024, Cooper identifies her business growth as her greatest achievement. "I'm proudest of building my company. It takes a lot of effort and countless hours, but my passion for it is immense."
Cooper shares her intent behind starting Call Her Daddy, stating, "I aimed to connect with others, sharing my stories to make women feel seen and heard. I wanted them to realize their feelings weren't crazy or absurd." She elaborated on her new venture, The Unwell Network, saying it’s about amplifying Gen Z voices. "Unwell aims to reflect our collective struggles and the reality that life isn’t perfect."
Looking toward 2025, Cooper's transition to SiriusXM includes a deal reportedly over $100 million. "I am thrilled to partner with SiriusXM. The Daddy Gang is my priority, and we will keep evolving to enhance the listener experience," she assures, adding, "The Daddy Gang craves more, and we're ready to deliver."
When discussing her dream podcast guests, Cooper revealed, "I'd choose two people—either Ms. Taylor Swift or Rihanna. Period." She admires their successful empires and states, "I would be honored to have a conversation with either of them."
