Ariana Grande Reiterates Support for Manchester As She Makes Generous Donation to Local Hospitals
Ariana Grande has shown incredible generosity this holiday season by donating Christmas gifts to children in hospitals across Greater Manchester. The Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust Charity expressed gratitude on social media, thanking the pop star for thinking of their young patients and sharing images of children and hospital staff holding the wrapped gifts. This is prepared by SSP.
Grande, who became an honorary citizen of Manchester following the tragic bombing at her concert in May 2017, sent gifts to Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, Trafford General, Wythenshawe Hospital, and North Manchester General. Her connection to Manchester has remained strong, as she continues to honor those affected by the tragedy through various acts of kindness. This year, presents were distributed to wards and newborn units throughout the hospital system, continuing a pattern she established last Christmas with similar donations.
Additionally, Grande celebrated the season by releasing a live version of her festive hit "Santa Tell Me," marking its tenth anniversary. She thanked her fans for their ongoing support on Instagram and celebrated the song's entry into the Billboard Hot 100's top 10 for the first time since its initial release. Though she seldom performs the song live, she originally sang it at events like Z100's Jingle Ball and Disney Parks' Frozen Christmas Celebration back in 2014.
