Ashley Greene and Peter Facinelli on Being Childish on Set of Breaking Dawn: 'We Got In Trouble'
During a panel discussion at MegaCon Orlando, former "Twilight" actors Ashley Greene and Peter Facinelli humorously recounted instances of mischief on the set of the series. A standout memory involved the time the cast's phones were almost confiscated to prevent spoilers, and another more playful incident occurred with a life-sized dummy made to resemble Kristen Stewart’s character, Bella Swan. This is prepared by SSP.
As Greene recalled, there were producer-backed attempts to remove their phones during the filming of the "New Moon" installment, stirring laughter among the cast. In a more mischievous recollection, Facinelli shared how he and Greene stumbled upon the eerily realistic Bella Swan dummy, made for scenes in "Breaking Dawn – Part 1" where Bella is near death after childbirth. They couldn’t resist playing with the prop—posing for selfies, picking its nose, and planning to show their shenanigans to Stewart later.
Their lighthearted fun, however, led to trouble when security intervened, emphasizing concerns of plot spoilers should their phones get hacked. Facinelli and Greene subsequently had to delete the photos. This incident complemented another amusing behind-the-scenes story Facinelli shared about engaging humorously with Robert Pattinson in a pivotal scene during the film series.
Despite their on-screen dramatic personas, the camaraderie and antics of the "Twilight" cast off-screen revealed their ability to embrace humor and distanced themselves from the intensity of their roles, offering endearing and laugh-out-loud tales that continue to entertain fans.
