Ashley Tisdale Says Being a Mom to 2 Girls Is Her 'Favorite Thing'
Ashley Tisdale shares daughters Jupiter Iris, 3, and Emerson Clover, 3 months, with her husband, Christopher French.
"I definitely love it," Tisdale, 39, shares with PEOPLE. She speaks about her journey as a mother to daughters Jupiter and Emerson. "It's my favorite thing, and it's transformed my life in many ways," she explains. The actress has partnered with Pfizer and Litfulo, a pill for individuals aged 12 and older with severe alopecia areata.
"It’s been the best time, and I’m filled with gratitude," adds the alum of High School Musical. Tisdale welcomed Jupiter in March 2021 and Emerson in September 2024.
With the arrival of her new baby, Tisdale shares that her oldest daughter is overjoyed to become an older sister. "She is definitely loving being a big sis," Tisdale remarks about Jupiter.
Reflecting on her own upbringing, the founder of Frenshe states, "I was the baby sister, so I never got to be the big sister." She continues, "I’m so glad that the girls have each other."
Earlier this year, Tisdale discussed her apprehensions about becoming pregnant again after her challenging experience with her first pregnancy in a TikTok video.
"After having Jupiter, I thought, ‘I’m not doing this again.’ It was physically tough for me," she said. "It wasn’t a wonderful experience."
She later recognized the blessing of welcoming a new baby. "When I consider this, do I see Ju-Ju as an only child?" Tisdale adds. Observing her daughter's social nature around other children helped her and her husband realize they "should have a little sibling for her."
