Ava Phillippe Recreates Iconic Matilda Scene for Halloween in Adorable Video
On November 2, Ava Phillippe shared a charming video on social media, bringing Matilda to life. Dressed as the beloved character from the 1996 film, she delighted fans while celebrating Halloween.
In the video, Ava, 25, joined her friend Jaden Sanders to reenact a scene from "Matilda." Jaden portrayed Lavender, saying, "Thanks for not telling." Ava, embodying Matilda, mimed back, "Best friends don’t tell." The playful duo shared a sweet moment, resting their heads together as they smiled for the camera.
With enthusiasm, Ava captioned the Instagram post, "BEST FRIENDS DON'T TELL ♥️📚 #happynovember2nd." Both looked perfect for the throwback role. Jaden wore dungarees, a pair of sunglasses, and styled her hair in braids. Ava chose a jean dress paired with a yellow T-shirt and a classic red bow headband.
Previously, Ava had shared TikTok videos highlighting her Matilda costume with channels of her and Jaden dancing. She referenced this in a humorous note, saying, "Ugh I dyed my hair and now we can't be Cher and Dionne." Her friend had an innovative idea for their costume.
In family news, Ava's mother, Reese Witherspoon, shares two children with ex- Ryan Phillippe. Along with Ava, the couple has a son named Deacon Phillippe, who is 21. Reese also has a son, Tennessee James Toth, aged 12, with Jim Toth.
