Bonnie, having battled her weight since childhood, noted her frustration over the years. "I’ve been trying to lose weight since I was probably 18," she revealed. Faced with numerous diets, such as Mediterranean and Paleo, she ultimately sought effective results.
The turning point came when she discovered the injectable weight management medication, Tirzepatide. After experimenting with Ozempic only to find it intolerable, she was skeptical. Her initial worries about nausea from the medication were quickly relieved with an anti-nausea prescription. Once beginning the regimen, Bonnie noticed a powerful change in cravings and fullness. Committing to avoid foods that cause distress, she looks to mitigate sushi intake and limits sweet treats. "I focus on the foods that nourish me well," Bonnie mentioned, opting for homemade kale chips and berries, which have become staples.
