Brad Pitt Feels 'Happy' and in a 'Great Place' with Ines de Ramon After Angelina Jolie Divorce
Brad Pitt is optimistic about his future post-divorce from Angelina Jolie, according to a source for PEOPLE. The actor's divorce was finalized in December 2024 following a prolonged eight-year legal dispute.
The 61-year-old F1 star and the Marie actress, 49, came to an agreement regarding their divorce nearly a decade after Jolie filed. As one insider noted on March 12, Pitt is satisfied to have the divorce finalized. "Things are low-key for the family," the source shared.
Currently, Pitt's relationship with jewelry designer Ines de Ramon is also flourishing. The couple began dating in late 2022, and the insider emphasizes, "They’re in a great place." Pitt remains focused on his career, especially with the upcoming release of F1 on June 27.
"Life’s good, no complaints," the insider added, reflecting on Pitt's current state.
Angelina Jolie initially filed for divorce on September 19, 2016, after two years of marriage. After the legal battles ended, her attorney, James Simon, expressed to PEOPLE on December 30 that Jolie felt "exhausted" yet "relieved" about the outcome.
He mentioned, "More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt." Simon continued, "This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago." Jolie’s journey has aimed at peace and healing for their family amidst the struggles.
Despite this development, the tensions over Chateau Miraval, their jointly owned winery in France, persist. Pitt took legal action against Jolie in 2022 over her sale of her stake in the estate to Tenute del Mondo, linked to the Stoli Group. Although Jolie expressed her desire to sell her share to Pitt, he insisted on a non-disclosure agreement that would prohibit discussions about allegations of abuse during their marriage.
Pitt has denied allegations of abuse towards Jolie and their children. The former couple has six children together: Maddox Chivan, 23; Pax Thien, 21; Zahara Marley, 20; Shiloh Nouvel, 18; and twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline, 16.
