Brandi Glanville Addresses Health Concerns with Dr. Terry Dubrow
Brandi Glanville, 52, has sought the assistance of Dr. Terry Dubrow regarding her health complications. She has reported unusual facial swelling, which she believes may be linked to "face parasites." However, Dr. Dubrow, 66, expressed skepticism about that diagnosis, US Weekly reported.
During an interview with TMZ on December 12, Dr. Dubrow acknowledged witnessing photos of Glanville, noting her pronounced swelling and uneven skin texture. He emphasized, "Brandi needs to focus on obtaining a solid diagnosis," attributing the oversight to previous doctors she consulted.
After receiving Dr. Dubrow’s outreach, Glanville acknowledged his support on December 13. "I have zero drama with @DrDubrow. I appreciate all the help I can get," she stated on X, accompanied by a prayer hands emoji. Noting their communication, she added, "We plan to talk. Thank you for all the love." She confirmed that all previous facial fillers had been dissolved and praised the quality of care she received at Cedars-Sinai.
In her ongoing struggle, Glanville has honestly addressed her health problems. She shared that she invested around $70,000 seeking medical answers and diagnostics relating to her condition.
"I have seen numerous doctors and had extensive testing… I spent $10,000 on lab work," she recounted in an interview with Entertainment Tonight on December 10. Glanville mentioned doctors suggesting ulcerative issues, noting the exploration for possible parasites as new information.
Glanville highlighted that prior to concluding a parasite diagnosis, she experienced significant swelling, affecting her ability to speak. Some doctors believed her previous fillers were responsible, but she asserted that recent filler procedures had not occurred, as older fillers dissolved long ago.
At the onset, Glanville considered food poisoning as a potential cause while filming The Real Housewives: The Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco.
In a candid statement to ET, she described feeling a parasite moving beneath her skin, stating that if she "touches it," the sensation transfers to other regions, appearing like "tiny bubbles bursting."
Dr. Dubrow urged the need for an accurate diagnosis. He expressed that if unaddressed, Glanville’s condition could worsen. "Every minute allows potential damage," he warned. "She might require surgical intervention to understand what’s triggering her health issues."
