Chris Evans Debuts Shaggy Beard at ‘Red One’ Premiere in Berlin
At the premiere of his upcoming action comedy, Red One, in Berlin on Sunday, November 3, Chris Evans, 43, revealed longer hair and a shaggy beard. The actor wore a chestnut brown corduroy suit paired with a blue mock turtleneck. He completed the outfit with glasses and brown loafers.
On Wednesday, November 6, Evans attended a Red One photocall in London. He opted for a casual look featuring a blue denim jacket, black shirt, and pants, finishing with brown shoes and a gold pendant necklace, along with glasses.
Previously, Evans appeared at a Comic-Con event in July with shorter hair and a neater beard. His new look has received positive reactions from fans. One wrote on Threads, "Chris Evans looks especially handsome at the Red One event in the U.K." Another quipped, "When all else fails, go see a Christmas movie with Chris Evans. Doesn’t fix anything but makes you forget that the world is EFFED UP for 90 minutes."
One user jokingly compared his look to that of a professor from an early 2000s rom-com after sharing a photo from his Berlin event.
Red One will be released in theaters on Friday, November 15. In this film, Evans plays bounty hunter Jack O’Malley, recruited by North Pole security chief Callum Drift (Dwayne Johnson) to locate Santa Claus (J.K. Simmons).
"I had such a good time making that movie," Evans told Us Weekly in August. He described his character as "a bit of a rascal" on the naughty list. Evans expressed his passion for Christmas movies, saying, "You want every movie you make to be good — but making a bad Christmas movie would really be a bummer. Thank goodness it's incredible. It's everything I wanted it to be and more."
As he looks ahead to the future, Evans is excited about upcoming projects. Although some fans want him to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Evans has stated no current plans to reprise his Captain America role.
"Those were wonderful times, and Captain America is probably the dearest role to my heart," he said. He hinted at his recent cameo as Johnny Storm in *Deadpool & Wolverine*, saying, "I would do anything for Ryan [Reynolds] — yelling "Flame on" again was just really special. I loved every second of it."
