Chrissy Teigen Shares Parenting Moments with Esti and Wren
Chrissy Teigen is a relatable mom, capturing everyday parenting struggles. The model and cookbook author highlighted a recent mealtime challenge with her youngest children, Esti and Wren, on her Instagram Stories on February 12. After preparing a lovely dinner of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, peas, and carrots, her children sat in highchairs, refusing to eat the meal—much to Teigen's frustration.
"Please eat it, please eat it. Can you please try it?" Teigen urged. Though she worked hard to create the dish, her children remained disinterested. Teigen remarked on the struggle, "To all the moms struggling with dinner, it doesn't matter. Whether you spend three hours or five minutes on it, they hate it."
Her earlier Instagram posts showcased her effort in cooking the meal from scratch, but she shared a clever shortcut: "These are so good and took me 4 minutes," she said of her powdered mashed potatoes. "I'm losing it over how good they are, nobody's going to know."
Earlier in the week, Teigen shared a tender moment with her children during a coconut milk bath. This sweet bath time snapshot, posted on February 8, featured Teigen and three kids together. Many parents found it relatable, while some felt it was "weird" and questioned the children’s need for privacy.
Commenters also inquired about the color of her bathwater. One noted, "Why is she always in dirty bathwater?" Teigen responded, explaining, "It’s a coconut milk bath for sensitive skin but go off!"
In response to the recent California wildfires, Teigen’s husband, John Legend, discussed their potential move back to New York City. In an interview with The Wall Street Journal on February 11, Legend expressed the sentiment, saying, "Chrissy and I have always considered returning to New York. We probably will, once our youngest ones grow up a bit." He noted that the devastating wildfires, which have claimed the lives of at least 29 people, are influencing their thoughts—"every time nature shows its wrath, we wonder if it’s time to head back east. Who knows?"
