Christina Milian Reveals Move from Hollywood to Paris

Christina Milian and her husband, Matt Pokora, relocated their family from Hollywood to Paris. Their decision followed years of commuting between the two locations due to their children's needs.

Christina shared, "We've been commuting every six months for the last three or four years." In a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, she explained, "We decided to commit to it last year because our kids were going to school."

Embracing French culture for their children was an exciting prospect. Christina remarked, "What’s better than an opportunity like that?" Their family now consists of their kids Isaiah, 4, and Kenna, 3, along with Christina's 14-year-old daughter, Violet, from her marriage to The-Dream.

Christina is still adapting to life in Paris. While she is fluent in English and Spanish, she hasn't mastered French yet. She recounted experiences at restaurants, saying, "I would let everybody talk, I’m just gonna eat away."

A pivotal moment occurred on a date night when Matt chatted with a restaurant host in French for almost two hours. Christina laughed, saying, "It was a lesson learned 'cause I was in France." She realized, "It's time to stop making excuses and challenge myself to learn another language."

How are her lessons going? Christina humorously noted, "I’m Franglish now." The family is enjoying their new life in Paris, despite the initial challenges.
