Cynthia Erivo Shows Her Relatable First Stop After Oscars 2025 ceremony
After the 2025 Oscars ceremony, Cynthia Erivo made a delightful stop at Raising Cane's for a post-event snack before heading to the Vanity Fair after-party.
Cynthia Erivo's stop was both tasty and relatable. The star of Wicked revealed via her Instagram Story that she visited a Raising Cane's fast-food location to grab some food after the awards ceremony. The photo, posted on March 3, shows Cynthia holding a large tray of Raising Cane's while enjoying a French fry.
She captioned the image, "Stop 1 of the night @raisingcanes." In another clip, she was seen enjoying the meal with her friend Capri Hakeem and her mother, Edith Erivo, as they laughed together in a cozy booth. Cynthia, showing her enthusiasm, wore a form-fitting black gown, complete with striking sleeves, without first changing clothes.
Following her visit, Raising Cane's expressed support on social media. Cynthia was a contender for Best Actress in a Leading Role, competing against Demi Moore, Mikey Madison, Karla Sofía Gascón, and Fernanda Torres. Ultimately, Mikey won the award. In their March 2 Instagram post, Raising Cane's celebrated her visit, writing, "@cynthiaerivo made Cane’s her first stop after Hollywood’s biggest show. We love you, Cynthia!"
Cynthia's night didn't end there. Shortly after her appearance at Raising Cane's, she attended Vanity Fair's glamorous Oscars after-party. For this event, she dazzled in a lavender mesh Vivienne Westwood mini dress, the third outfit she donned that night.
Certainly, she had much to celebrate after her performance. Cynthia, who sang a medley alongside her Wicked co-star Ariana Grande during the ceremony, highlighted her excitement. "At some point, I have to quiet down and warm up my voice to ensure I can perform well," she shared with Entertainment Tonight on the Oscars red carpet, expressing her eagerness for the event.
