Demi Lovato Recreates Her Iconic Camp Rock ‘Disney Knees’ at Disneyland in Hilarious Video

Demi Lovato is showcasing her Disney dance skills!

On Tuesday, March 18, the 32-year-old singer shared a funny TikTok video. In this clip, she reenacted her famous "Disney knees" from Camp Rock at various locations within Disneyland.

The video features Lovato dancing to her Camp Rock song "This Is Me." During it, she pretends to hold a microphone, lowers her head, raises one hand in the air, and shakes her inverted knees to the rhythm.

Lovato performed this move in four different spots at the park, including in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle and near a Star Wars attraction. "Couldn’t go to Disney without doing the dis-knees," the "Sorry Not Sorry" artist, who uses she/they pronouns, noted in her caption.

Fellow Disney star Olivia Rodrigo commented, "forreal," while a fan added, "the most iconic thing ever 😭😭😭." The "Disney knees" trend has gained popularity on TikTok, with fans expressing their excitement about how this move connects with their favorite Disney stars.

In 2022, content creator Findlay McConnell showcased the dance on TikTok. He wrote over his video, "POV Demi Lovato was your camp councillor" while lip-syncing to "This Is Me." He added the caption, "get those disney knees moving."

Lovato discussed the move during an interview with Teen Vogue last year. "I bust out into these, like these knees," she explained about her performance in the 2008 musical. "That’s the only way I can describe it ... I love that people still remember it."

Additionally, Lovato recently shared a TikTok video on March 15, asking an AI chatbot to roast her. Her fiancé, Jordan "Jutes" Lutes, read the amusing response.

"Okay, so I asked ChatGPT to roast me, and Jordan's gonna read it," Lovato said. Jutes, 33, then stated, "Roast Demi Lovato? Oh, you mean the artist formerly known as 'Confident' but now more like confused?" This referred to Lovato's 2015 hit "Confident."

"Demi Lovato has had more rebrands than a failing fast food chain," the roast continued. "One minute, they’re punk rock, the next they’re singing pop ballads, and somewhere in between they’re beefing with a frozen yogurt shop."

Lovato and Jutes first revealed their relationship in August 2022 before getting engaged in December 2023.
