Diddy Celebrates His 55th Birthday in Jail with 'Breakfast Cake' — Here's the Menu
Sean "Diddy" Combs marks his 55th birthday on November 4 at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center, pending his trial. Arrested on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution, he remains incarcerated after pleading not guilty and being denied bail.
On his special day, Diddy will enjoy a breakfast menu as outlined by the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Breakfast will include oatmeal, fruit, whole wheat bread, biscuits, "oven brown potatoes," along with spreads like margarine and jelly. Inmates can partake in "breakfast cake" daily; this dessert is available to all inmates, not just on Diddy's birthday.
Coffee is exclusively served on weekends, while pancakes or French toast may be enjoyed on Wednesdays and Fridays. Lunch takes place at 11 a.m., featuring a variety of choices. Mondays may include mains like Southwest chicken wraps, chicken tacos, cheese pizza, or three-bean chili. Inmates are also provided with side options, including green beans, rice, salsa, and cole slaw. Lunch comes with fruit every day but lacks dessert on Mondays.
Dinner occurs after the 4 p.m. headcount, offering three potential menus on Mondays. Choices include turkey roast with gravy and rice, accompanied by peas and whole wheat bread. The second option consists of chicken or tofu fried rice with black beans, carrots, and whole wheat bread. No dessert is included with dinner.
If Combs has money in his commissary account, he can purchase items like Nutella, Snickers, macaroni and cheese, and hot chocolate. Diddy's attorney, Marc Agnifilo, stated that food options rank as one of the toughest challenges for him in jail. Agnifilo told reporters outside a federal courthouse that the food situation significantly impacts Combs’ experience behind bars.
The trial date regarding sex crime charges is set for May 5, 2025.
