Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi Celebrate 20 Years Together with Heartfelt Selfie

Ellen DeGeneres, 67, and Portia de Rossi, 52, mark their two-decade relationship. They shared a lovely shadowy selfie on Instagram. It was captured at sunset on March 20. DeGeneres captioned the image, "20 years together. Happy to be with you everywhere and always."

The couple celebrated their 20-year milestone in December as well. DeGeneres expressed her emotions in a heartfelt Instagram post. "20 years ago today we began this relationship not realizing what a long beautiful adventure this would be," she wrote. "You are the best thing that ever happened in my life. You help me see the good in everything. You guide me and lift me when I feel down."

The tribute showcased a cozy moment at their new home in the English countryside. They relocated in fall 2024. DeGeneres affectionately called de Rossi a "beautiful soul" and added, "My wife. My best friend. The love of my life. Thank you for being you and loving me."

DeGeneres humorously anticipated her first snowy Christmas in the U.K. She assured fans that their new home did not suffer from flooding caused by the December storms. "P.S. for those of you concerned, our UK farmhouse did NOT flood," she confirmed.

After her long-running talk show ended in May 2022, DeGeneres moved to find a home in the U.K. A source mentioned that she began house hunting in early October. She found a property she loved and bought it soon after.

In that month, DeGeneres and de Rossi were spotted at The Farmer’s Dog pub in the Cotswolds. They socialized with celebrities like Lisa Hogan and James Blunt, who were present. The pub even featured a performance from The Corrs.

The Cotswolds is known as a sought-after area for U.K. celebrities, including the Beckhams, Kate Moss, and retired Prime Minister David Cameron. King Charles' Highgrove House is also nearby, solidifying the region's celebrity allure.
