Geomagnetic activity probabilities for June 20 to June 22
Welcome to the daily solar activity report from SSP. This report provides insights into the recent solar and auroral activity, along with forecasts for the upcoming days.
Solar activity forecast
Based on the latest observations, solar activity is expected to be moderate in the next three days, with a slight chance of an X-class flare on June 20, 21, and 22.
Over the past 24 hours, the geomagnetic field has remained at quiet to unsettled levels. Notable observations include a peak solar wind speed of 575 km/s, occurring at 19/1655Z. The total IMF (interplanetary magnetic field) reached a maximum of 5 nT at 19/1015Z. Moreover, the maximum southward component of Bz dipped to -4 nT at 19/1906Z. Electrons greater than 2 MeV at geosynchronous orbit peaked at 409 pfu.

Impact of magnetic storms on humans
Extensive research conducted worldwide has established a connection between magnetic storms and human well-being. Some studies suggest that magnetic storms can affect human health and mood. During these periods, individuals often report feeling unwell and tend to seek medical attention, especially from cardiologists.
To mitigate the impact of magnetic storms, we recommend following these guidelines:
1. Maintain a regular daily schedule.
2. Ensure you get enough sleep, aiming for at least 7-9 hours per night.
3. Consume a balanced diet rich in fresh vegetables and fruits.
4. Stay hydrated by drinking an adequate amount of water.
5. Avoid excessive consumption of coffee, energy drinks, alcohol, cigarettes, spicy, and junk food.
6. Seek opportunities to breathe fresh air, such as spending time in nearby parks or outdoor areas.
7. Properly ventilate indoor spaces.
8. Reduce physical and psycho-emotional stress whenever possible.9. If necessary, seek medical assistance from professionals.
