George Clooney is prioritizing family as he embraces new life focuses. In a recent interview with The New York Times, published on February 20, the actor discusses his evolving priorities at the age of 63. Clooney emphasized his desire to maximize quality time with his wife, Amal, and their young children before age imposes limitations. Married since 2014, the couple shares twins, Alexander and Ella, born in 2017.

Clooney recalled a pivotal conversation with Amal when he turned 60. He stated, "Look, I can still play full-court basketball. I can still run around," but recognized the reality of aging. He continued, "In 30 years, I’m 90. That’s a real number. My dad just hit that." Clooney believes in prioritizing shared experiences with family over work, noting, "No one at the end of their life goes, ‘God, I wish I worked more.’"

Meeting Amal through a mutual friend at his Lake Como home, Clooney expressed his pride in being her husband and a devoted father. He feels that everything became clearer after they fell in love. As he reflected on finding the right partner, he remarked, "There’s a thing about finding the person that you needed to find...everything from then on is easy."

Clooney's perspective has changed significantly over the years. He shared an anecdote to highlight this shift. "We renovated our house," he began. He noted how, in his younger days, he would have objected to Amal’s desire to paint a wall yellow. Now, his response is simpler: "OK." This change signifies a relief from the worries that once consumed him.
