Glamorous and In Love: Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost Shine at Museum Gala
Scarlett Johansson and her husband, Colin Jost, made a stunning appearance at the American Museum of Natural History gala.
On December 5, the couple walked together on the red carpet. Both looked elegant in their coordinated outfits. Johansson, 39, wore a dazzling black V-neck gown, accessorized with a pearl choker and diamond drop earrings. Jost, 42, complemented her look in a classic tuxedo and a bowtie. As they posed for photos, they sweetly held hands, showcasing their affection.
Johansson and Jost began their relationship in 2017 after meeting on Saturday Night Live. The pair tied the knot three years later and welcomed their son, Cosmo, in 2021. Johansson has an older daughter, Rose, age 10, from her previous marriage to Romain Dauriac. She spoke about their marriage during a June 2023 interview on CBS Mornings, highlighting their communication. "We laugh a lot and check in with each other," she shared. "He's a comedy writer and somewhat introverted, while I'm more extroverted. Checking in helps us stay connected."
Although they do not frequently appear on the red carpet together, Jost often mentions Johansson on SNL's "Weekend Update." Co-host Michael Che frequently prompts him to do so, which causes Johansson some anxiety. "I now rarely watch SNL without feeling a sense of slight panic," she explained on The Kelly Clarkson Show in July 2021. She emphasized that being emotionally invested makes the experience different from just watching as a viewer.
Johansson has expressed her feelings about her marriage, stating she feels "extremely lucky." On Live With Kelly and Mark, she described Jost as "a very great guy." He is kind, hilarious, thoughtful, and loving, and also a wonderful dad. "But he has a naughty side, keeping things interesting," she added.
Johansson humorously noted that Jost’s "naughty side" includes his and Pete Davidson's decision to buy a ferryboat. "He bought a decommissioned Staten Island Ferry. It's still decommissioned," she joked, playfully suggesting viewers rent it for events like bar mitzvahs and weddings.
Earlier, SSP wrote that Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Jennifer Spinner tied the knot.
