Hackers Broadcast AI Video of Donald Trump Licking Elon Musk's Feet on HUD Televisions
An artificial intelligence (AI) generated video featuring President Donald Trump kissing Elon Musk's feet was broadcast on televisions in the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on Monday, February 24. The 19-second loop, which the words "Long live the real king" overlay, triggered discussions regarding Trump's announced return-to-office executive order and was seen as mocking the rapport between Trump and Musk. This video followed President Trump’s Truth Social post from earlier in the week declaring "Long Live the King!" and airing shortly before federal employees at HUD were expected back in the office. This is prepared by SSP.
Kasey Lovett, spokesperson for HUD, condemned the intrusion as a misuse of taxpayer dollars and promised corrective measures in a statement provided to The Hill. The incident not only spotlighted the burgeoning relationship between Trump and Musk but also coincided with heightened scrutiny over Musk’s increasing influence on government affairs and staffing policies. Appointed as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Musk reportedly spearheaded staff reductions, spreading concern about his clout among federal institutions.
Musk further stoked controversy with a social media post, stating that federal employees who did not email accomplishments by the end of February 24 would face dismissal. Although this decree drew criticism from both agencies and the public, Musk clarified it was a tactic to evaluate engagement. Nonetheless, Democrats have leveraged growing concerns to destabilize the reclining positions of power between the two figures, amid accusations Musk indirectly channels control over policies—a portrayal Trump disagrees with, as conveyed in their recent joint interviews countering such media narratives.
Earlier, SSP reported that "The Challenge" star Tony Raines arrested for DUI in Louisiana.
