Heather El Moussa Suggests Flirting Involves Christina Haack and Ant Anstead
Heather Rae El Moussa aims to clarify recent flirtation claims related to Christina Haack and her ex, Ant Anstead. This follows Anstead’s comments in the last episode of "The Flip Off."
During the latest airing of the HGTV series on February 26, Heather, 37, revisited Anstead's remarks from his guest appearance. The British host, 45, judged which of two teams—his ex-wife, Christina, with her crew or Tarek El Moussa and Heather—designed the best guest bathroom and bedroom.
Anstead playedfully claimed that Tarek and Christina were flirting, which irked Heather. Just before announcing Christina's victory, he teased that their interactions were romantic.
Taking her turn later, Heather seized the opportunity during a phone discussion. She remarked that Christina and Ant were the ones actually flirting in that episode.
"I’m feeling fabulous today," Christina remarked in response to Heather’s question about her well-being. Tarek chimed in, joking about rigging games, suggesting unfair advantage.
Christina dismissed the insinuation, saying, "I didn’t rig. I can’t control what he does," meaning Anstead.
When he was mentioned again, Heather candidly said, "You guys were flirting." Tarek added, "I think he’s just trying to win you back," implying Anstead's motives.
Smiling, Christina retorted, "No, I think he’s just jealous of all of our relationships." She referred to being excluded from the group text. Heather agreed with amusement, commenting, "He got kicked out."
In an exclusive clip prior to this episode, Anstead and the trio were outside Christina’s home in Newport Beach while his flirtation accusations began. After Christina and Ant reconciled following their turbulent divorce in September 2020, Heather straightforwardly asked them how things were progressing.
Anstead sidestepped and instead focused on Tarek and Christina, lampooning their perceived flirtation: "Once you stop flirting, let’s get into it. Cause we’re here to do a job." He repeated the tease later, prompting a warning from Heather.
Pointing at him, she cautioned, "Ant, now you’re really going to be in trouble if you keep using that word."
Christina initially married Tarek in December 2009, but they separated in December 2016 after seven years of marriage. She married Anstead in December 2018, but they divorced by September 2020, which led to a custody dispute over their son, Hudson. Eventually, that issue resolved in December 2022.
Christina also has two children—daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9—with Tarek. Tarek and Heather share a son, Tristan, 2. Christina discussed her emotional reconciliation with Anstead during a previous episode, recalling a heartfelt hug and Anstead's apology.
Their shared moments have led fans to closely monitor their relationship dynamics. Recently, they re-followed each other on social media and exchanged friendly comments. Christina showed support for Anstead's relationship with Oscar winner Renée Zellweger, while also dating businessman Christopher Larocca.
