Hilary Duff Shares Steak Experience for 7-Month-Old Daughter Townes
Hilary Duff's 7-month-old daughter, Townes, is showing a flair for food! In a recent Instagram Stories video from December 10, the youngest child of Duff, 37, and Matthew Koma relishes a piece of steak, PEOPLE reported.
In this clip, conveyable joy reflects on Townes’s face as she sits in her highchair, simply dressed in a diaper, trying to maneuver her food. As she enjoys the taste, juices run down her tiny arms.
Duff captioned the post humorously, saying, "Starting with steak on the 4th child. Pureés ain't doing it for her." She added a playful note, suggesting vegans might want to skip watching the video.
This delightful food exploration is not new for Townes. Duff reminisced about an earlier adventure on December 10 when she took Townes to a chef friend's house. There, Townes tried gourmet quiche but ended up "choking a little" after gulping "a big glob."
Normally, such situations might induce panic. However, Duff mentioned in an exclusive with PEOPLE, "Normally, I’d be panicked. Now, I'm waiting – oh good, you worked it out."
Duff's parenting seems more laid-back this time. She expressed contentment, stating, "There's just a coolness to me, finally, on the fourth kid that makes life a lot more tolerable right now."
Townes was born on May 3, joining her siblings, Banks Violet and Mae James. Additionally, Duff also shares her eldest son, Luca, with former NFL player Mike Comrie.
Duff describes Townes as her "chillest" baby. She shared, "She's a really good baby. She just started sleeping through the night, which is incredible. I don't know if it took me having four kids to get a chill one, or if I'm more chill."
In a May 2021 interview with PEOPLE, Duff spoke about her parenting style, expressing joy in the "mayhem" of motherhood. "I love when everyone's full of energy, and the house is buzzing. You never know what the day is going to bring or what your kid's going to say," she remarked.
