Hoda Kotb experienced pure joy while reuniting with Kevin Costner at the 2025 Super Bowl, US Weekly reported. The event, held on February 9 in New Orleans, featured the Philadelphia Eagles' impressive 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.
On her Instagram, 60-year-old Kotb posted, "Oh what funnnnn!!!" along with several photos, including a joyful image with 70-year-old Costner. Their reunion sparked a playful response from former co-host Savannah Guthrie.
Guthrie wrote, "New couple alert," and tagged Jenna Bush Hager, who added, "We have been waiting for this moment!" Fans quickly echoed the sentiment, eager to support a possible romance.
The speculation about a romantic connection between Kotb and Costner began in June 2024. Their chemistry during Costner's appearance on "Hoda & Jenna" captured viewers attention. In response to a question about fan expectations on "Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen," Kotb claimed she was unaware of the rumors.
She humorously noted on "Hoda & Jenna" that the suggestion of dating Costner was "unbelievable." Previously, Kotb had been married to Burzis Kanga from 2005 to 2008 and was engaged to Joel Schiffman until their split in January 2022. Their co-parenting includes daughters Haley, 7, and Hope, 5.
Bush Hager recounted, "People were coming up to me on the streets," suggesting, "You should set up Hoda and Kevin Costner."
