Influencer Breckie Hill Responds to Cheating Rumors Involving Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter
Breckie Hill is setting the record straight. The 21-year-old influencer took to TikTok on December 7 to deny allegations that Barry Keoghan cheated on Sabrina Carpenter with her. Hill stated clearly, "To put it simply for you all, no, I did not get with Barry. I have never even encountered this man in my life. The only time I've seen him is on my TV screen from watching Saltburn."
Hill's video comes after rumors circulated online about supposed meetings between her and Keoghan, 32, in Los Angeles.
The speculation followed her Snapchat posts, which were misinterpreted as evidence of infidelity. On November 18, Keoghan and Carpenter, 25, were in the area for Carpenter’s performance, leading to further conjecture when Hill shared moments from her outing at BOA Steakhouse.
Hill addressed the misunderstandings in her video. "I reposted a clip alleging I was ‘homewrecking’ simply because I thought it was so ridiculous," she explained. Hill emphasized her values: "If I really was the one getting with Barry, why would I be reposting about it? … Coming from someone who has been cheated on, I would never want to homewreck any relationship or put any girl through that pain."
The influencer also clarified the context of her Snapchat content. She was at BOA Steakhouse "with my friends getting dinner," reviewing drinks when viewers distorted her words. She mentioned giving a particular margarita a "six out of 10" due to its saltiness, which she linked inaccurately back to Barry. "Another drink I reviewed was called a ‘Blackberry Smash’ on the BOA menu," Hill noted, which fans misconstrued as another nod towards Keoghan.
Breckie labeled the cheating rumors as "crazy" and indicated that she had shared the videos while "lying in a hospital bed" recovering from recent spinal injuries. Following related developments, PEOPLE confirmed on December 3 that Keoghan and Carpenter had opted to "take a break" after dating for approximately one year.
In the wake of their separation, Keoghan took down his Instagram account. He expressed his frustrations through X (formerly Twitter), stating, "I can only sit and take so much."
He reported having received hate messages and threats, which caused significant distress to him and his family, including his two-year-old son, Brando, whom he shares with ex Alyson Sandro.
