Jay Leno Steps Out in Las Vegas Despite Terrible Fall
Jay Leno recently appeared in public with visible signs of injuries after an accident in Pennsylvania. The 74-year-old comedian fell 60 feet down a hill while trying to reach a restaurant near his hotel on foot due to the lack of a vehicle. In the fall, he broke his wrist, bruised the left side of his body, and suffered a severe bruise that stretched from his forehead to below his chin. The accident also led to the loss of a fingernail and an eye injury from a rock. This is prepared by SSP.
Despite these setbacks, Leno wore makeup to cover the bruises when he hosted the amfAR Las Vegas benefit on November 22. Just days before, he was spotted in Los Angeles for a meal, replacing his eye patch with black-rimmed glasses. Throughout these appearances, he maintained a positive outlook on his injuries, stating the ordeal was "not that big a deal."
At the Las Vegas event, where Sylvester Stallone and his wife were honored for their charitable contributions, Leno impressed attendees by continuing to perform despite his injuries. Earlier in the week, Leno performed at venues in Pittsburgh and California, demonstrating resilience as noted by Gary Latshaw, who noted it was inspiring how Leno managed to put on a show after such a severe incident. This fortitude is reminiscent of when Leno performed after suffering burns in a gasoline fire while working on his car in 2022. As he lightheartedly remarked to TMZ, he's unlikely to change his adventurous ways regardless of past incidents.
Earlier, SSP reported that Cara Delevingne shared her experience living with Taylor Swift.
