Jelly Roll Reveals Weight Loss Transformation Goal After Losing 120 Pounds
Jelly Roll, the popular singer, recently shared that he has lost a remarkable 120 pounds in his weight loss journey. He also announced an exciting new goal.
After reaching this milestone, Jelly Roll looks forward to achieving his next objective. On the Dec. 15 episode of his wife Bunnie XO's Dumb Blonde podcast, he expressed his desire to appear on a magazine cover. He set a timeline to make this happen.
"I wanna be on the cover of Men’s Health," Jelly Roll stated during the podcast, as highlighted in a TikTok preview. He aimed to achieve this by March 2026.
Bunny, full of encouragement, exclaimed, "Let's go!"
Jelly Roll continued, "That's my new goal. I want to have one of the biggest transformations."
Just days before the podcast episode aired, the 40-year-old artist, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, displayed his progress onstage. He performed his hit single, "Liar," at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards.
Having battled weight issues and food addiction for much of his life, the "Son of a Sinner" singer previously announced on Instagram in October that he had lost 100 pounds; by November, this number had increased to 120 during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.
"I did this publicly for a reason," Jelly Roll explained about his journey on Dumb Blonde. "I want to be honest about my struggles with it with people."
As a two-time Grammy nominee, he wishes to share his experience with others, helping inspire them along the way.
"What I want the world to know is that I didn’t become successful because of my weight; I became successful in spite of it," he added. "I somehow managed to be this successful carrying 550 pounds. That's insane."
