Jesy Nelson Shares Exciting News of Expecting Twins
Jesy Nelson, the former Little Mix member, is pregnant with twins. This joyful news comes with her announcement of expecting babies with Zion Foster on January 12.
Jesy shared this exciting information on Instagram with a heartfelt post. She included a polaroid photo of Zion embracing her baby bump. The caption read, "She’s eating for 3 now," highlighting her playful spirit.
Nelson's announcement follows three years after the couple first ignited romance rumors. Despite any breakup chatter over time, the couple seems ready for this new adventure together.
Jesy's Journey with Little Mix
The singer rose to fame on the UK’s The X Factor in 2011. Jesy became part of Little Mix, achieving significant success with Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock. In November 2020, the band announced Jesy’s extended hiatus due to "private medical reasons."
A month later, she revealed her decision to leave permanently. Her bandmates expressed their love and support on Instagram. They emphasized the importance of prioritizing Jesy's mental health and well-being.
Changes in Little Mix
Thirlwall, Pinnock, and Edwards have also taken breaks from the group, seeking to explore new paths in their lives. In August 2021, Pinnock and Edwards both became mothers, welcoming children days apart. Edwards had a son, Axel, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, while Pinnock welcomed twin girls with Andre Gray.
Jesy opened up about her struggles, stating that being in the band impacted her mental health. She found the pressures of group life overwhelming. She emphasized the need to focus on self-care over pleasing others.
This sentiment resonated, leading to her eventual decisions supported by her loyal bandmates.
