Jonathan Majors Privately Marries Meagan Good

Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good have tied the knot after nearly two years of dating, according to multiple sources.

Jonathan Majors clearly recognizes something special when he sees it. The actor, known for Lovecraft Country, married Meagan Good, marking his first marriage at age 35. For Meagan, 43, this is her second marriage, following her union with DeVon Franklin from 2012 to 2022. 

The couple first crossed paths in October 2022 at the Ebony Power 100 Gala. Their relationship blossomed in May 2023, and they subsequently announced their engagement at the same annual event, full circle.

Reflecting on their initial meeting, Meagan told E! News at the gala, "EBONY Power 100 is the event that we met at in the bathrooms, in the unisex bathroom."

Since going public, Meagan has openly expressed how Jonathan has influenced her life. She described their love story as "an amazing journey, and I cherish it deeply."

"This relationship has taught me about unconditional love," Meagan shared with Ebony in January. "It shows what it means to be loved for who you are and to love someone who brings out the best in you."

Jonathan has also shared his appreciation for Meagan. He started dating her amidst considerable legal troubles. Two months before they debuted as a couple, he was arrested in New York City for allegedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, maintaining his innocence throughout.

Ultimately, he was found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment. Consequently, he received a sentence of 52 weeks of in-person counseling and a $250 fine, as reported by NBC News. Jonathan credit Meagan for standing by him through his challenges.

"I'm really blessed," Jonathan told Good Morning America in January 2024. "I'm surrounded by people who love me and who care about me. This experience has been very, very hard and confusing in many ways. But I'm standing."
