The star of "Don’t Hate Your House with the Property Brothers," 46, and the actress, 44, embraced the evening in casual attire. Deschanel wore a stylish denim jacket complemented by plaid ballet pumps. Her golden hoop earrings added an elegant touch, while her stunning engagement ring was visible on her left hand.
Scott matched the casual vibe, opting for blue jeans, a gray hoodie, and a brown leather jacket. Both appeared fully invested in the match, reflecting the game's intensity with Deschanel visibly gasping during a key moment of the Lakers' 114-106 victory.
Her playful date night comes after Scott discussed their wedding plans with PEOPLE. He humorously mentioned their lack of progress, stating, "I can guarantee you we have done absolutely 0% more work. We have a lot going on." He lightheartedly suggested that sorting the wedding might be a New Year’s resolution.
After four years of dating, Scott proposed to Deschanel in August 2023 during a vacation in Scotland. He chose the enchanting Edinburgh Castle for the proposal, which involved her children, daughter Elsie, 9, and son Charlie, 7. They unveiled a banner reading, "Zooey, will you marry me?"
Scott revealed their intent to keep the wedding intimate, focusing on close friends and family. "The most important thing for us is to be surrounded by our loved ones," he expressed to PEOPLE in May.
