Keleigh Teller Shares Kind Gesture from Flight Attendant After Home Loss

Keleigh Teller recently experienced a devastating loss due to the Pacific Palisades wildfire, which destroyed her home with her husband Miles Teller. The event sparked an outpouring of support from many, including a touching gesture from a flight attendant, People reported.

On January 16, Keleigh, 32, shared a heartfelt note on her Instagram Stories from an American Airlines flight attendant. The handwritten message expressed condolences for her loss, stating, "Hi, I didn’t want to intrude or make you uncomfortable during the flight – however, I would like to say that I’m so sorry for your loss. No matter who you are or what you do, what you went through is devastating! My prayers go out to you & your family <3 FA LeBlanc."

In her post, Keleigh wrote, "Thank you, flight attendant, LeBlanc 💔 @americanair good humans." This kind of message arrived as Keleigh processed her emotional distress.

Exactly one week before sharing the note, Keleigh posted a picture of her home taken through a car window. The image captured the couple’s white house, still standing amid dark smoke clouds as they evacuated. In the caption, Keleigh expressed her gratitude, stating, "💔 snapped this driving out... To everyone reaching out, I can’t thank you enough; your kind hearts have meant the world, I’ll never forget them."

A subsequent photo revealed the property’s destruction, showcasing burnt remnants, including the couple’s SUV. Only the fence and front gate remained.

Keleigh emphasized community resilience in her post. She noted, "Community has come out stronger than I could imagine, Pacific Palisades I love you beyond measure, you are a little slice of heaven, and we will come back stronger than ever." Also, she urged those in the LA area to evacuate if possible.

Reflecting on the loss, Keleigh voiced regret over leaving behind her wedding dress. "I wish I grabbed my wedding dress... wish I did a lot different but it doesn’t matter, stay safe, get out. There are no words. THANK YOU to the first responders fighting."

The wildfires have claimed 25 lives, according to a January 15 report from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection reported the Eaton fire has burned 14,117 acres, with 55% contained, while the Palisades fire has consumed 23,713 acres, with only 27% contained.
