Kelly Stafford Visits Hospital with Kids During NFL Playoff Trip
Kelly Stafford recently faced an unfortunate situation involving a hospital visit with her children. She had traveled with her husband, Matthew Stafford, ahead of the upcoming Rams-Vikings playoff game.
On Instagram, Kelly, 35, shared her experience with her followers. "Last night was long," she wrote on January 11, posting a photo of two of her young children asleep in a hospital bed. "Back in beds and sleeping, everyone except Hunter. Feels like she drank a Celsius."
In another Instagram Story, she shared a picture of Matthew, 36, the quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams, along with their daughters. "Before that tho, they were all smiles getting to go with daddy on his work trip," Kelly remarked.
The week prior, Kelly had revealed she, along with two daughters, had come down with an illness. "I can’t think straight," she mentioned on the Tuesday, January 7, episode of her "Morning After" podcast. "I currently believe I have the flu. Two of my daughters have the flu."
Kelly and Matthew have four daughters: twins Sawyer and Chandler, 7, Hunter, 6, and Tyler, 4. Details about why the children went to the hospital remain unclear, including whether they would attend the Rams versus Vikings playoff game.
The family made the trip to observe Matthew's practice before the Rams’ playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings. This game is scheduled for January 13 in Glendale, Arizona. The Rams' home game was moved from Los Angeles to Glendale due to wildfires affecting southern California.
Kelly's hospital visit occurred shortly after she offered to rent charter buses for season ticket holders in Los Angeles heading to Glendale.
During a press conference on January 9, Matthew spoke on the devastation caused by the wildfires and their effect on the community.
"It’s a tough thing to watch on the news, to be around, to see," he communicated to reporters. "Driving around seeing all that, it’s just really sad to see what’s going on. Obviously, a bunch of people are doing everything they possibly can to get things under control and return to normal."
Matthew continued, "Every time we suit up, we’re the Los Angeles Rams. We play for the people in this community. They support us. This week will be another example of that. Hopefully, it will be a great escape for those who have faced tough times."
